Only accepting NEW patients that work in EMS as a Firefighter or Police Officer. Established patients that are non-EMS are still welcome.

My philosophy as your doctor is to become your healthcare partner for optimal wellness.

I’m Dr. Walters…

My journey toward integrative medicine began many years ago. I’ve worked as an Emergency Room Charge Nurse (RN, BSN), Critical Care Transport Nurse, Trauma Nurse and Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse for over 20 years. I chose to attend Naturopathic Medical school to combine the best of natural and conventional medicine, providing an integrative approach for my clients.

My inspiration for a patient-centered Primary Care practice, focusing on Firefighter/Police health, came from a very personal experience - my own firefighter husband. Although he stated he felt “fine”, seemed “off” to me. In depth screening was performed and found that his coronary arteries were nearly completely blocked - this resulted in coronary bypass surgery that ultimately saved his life.

I knew from that moment, that I needed to focus my practice to care for those that risk their lives to save others. Heart disease and cancer are much higher risk for those who work in Emergency Services!

My specialty…

Combining the best of naturopathic + conventional medicine, utilizing therapies, modalities and treatment approaches that best fit the needs of each individual.

My vision…

To provide in-depth screenings and integrative healthcare for firefighters/police to achieve and maintain the healthiest version of themselves possible - to prevent/decrease the impact of occupational disease.

My goal…

To provide whole-person care. This means getting to know who you are as a person, and what your health goals are, so that together we can create a plan to achieve them.

On a personal note…

I have lived in Washington State my entire life, residing in Monroe since 2004 with my husband who is an Assistant Fire Chief in the surrounding community. We have 2 grown daughters, a grandbaby, and 3 dogs, all of whom we love spending time with.

When I’m not caring for my patients, you’ll probably find me enjoying the outdoors of the Cascade Mountains — hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, camping, gardening, traveling and doing home projects.
